01 / The challenge
Give occasional support a reason to continue.
Young supporters may care about a cause but struggle to see how small, repeated contributions add up. The project explored ways to make giving feel quick, connected and visible over time.
Care Circle asks how a charity could recognise more than a donation amount, helping people see their contributions as an ongoing relationship.
02 / Research
Connect quick engagement with visible impact.
The research combined 30+ questionnaire responses, 10+ user interviews and stakeholder conversations, informing a journey from first participation to continued contribution.
The design brought together three research themes: quick engagement, personal connection, and visibility of contribution. These themes shaped the navigation and feedback.
03 / Design decisions
One place to see activity, points and progress.
A contribution dashboard brings recent activity, earned points and personal progress into one place. Collections and digital characters provide a tangible representation of participation, while clear navigation connects the profile, points, collection and donation calendar.
The system explores how recognition can support repeat engagement: a small act becomes a recorded contribution, then an understandable step within a longer relationship with the cause.

04 / Testing & iteration
Clarify the path and the feedback.
Concept testing informed changes to task paths, feedback mechanisms and information hierarchy. The final work includes dashboard, points, collection and achievement concepts.
The delivered outcome is an academic service prototype that connects the contribution dashboard, points and collections within one consistent experience.
